The first letter appears on a Tuesday.
No name, no signature. Just a blood-red envelope leaned against my front door.
Lines written by someone who knows exactly who I am, who sees every broken, hidden part of me. Lines that should make me run.
By the time the third one arrives, I should be terrified. I should report him. Instead, I wait in the dark for the next one.
But by the fifth, I’m no longer scared of the Ghost watching me.
I’m terrified of how badly I want him closer. And not even therapy can change that.
