Between first light and ashes

Love, a language we think we're fluent in until loss leaves us fumbling for words like tourists without a phrasebook.
This collection chronicles the catastrophe of a relationship: the spark (actual butterflies), the warmth (too many matching outfits), the cracks (turns out they weren't "quirks"), and the goodbye (spoiler: it wasn't pretty). Perfect endings only exist in movies and fairy tales written by people who've clearly never tried to split a Netflix account.
Each verse captures moments frozen in time. Stolen glances, 2 AM promises that seemed profound, and the slow unraveling of what felt unbreakable (like a favorite sweater that keeps snagging on everything).
