Done...Resurrected!...

Done...Resurrected...is a belated emotional rewriting of published Done! in a more dramatic and embracive spirit of resurrection after it was learned good friend Micki whom Don embodies took his own unlucky-in-love life. It's a modern parody of an epic picaresque novel and is the first novel of a trilogy that includes...May '68 events of Caldo n Spring...and Run along , Nietz...that highlight the 1967-1970 peak of anti-establishment challenge of the idealistic young generation fed up with hot and cold wars that could lead to a nuclear holocaust. The main venues are Paris, Hamburg , Munich and former Yugoslavia. Don is discharged from the US Military in West Germany  and gets involved with student Dorosy and lives with her in student mansion of left-wing  anti-Yankee students that together with the Anti-Viet Nam War protest marches is an eyeopener and his my country, right or wrong questioning has him rejected  on base and at home on leave as he fantatically tryies  to reform with missionary zeal. A supernatural Amazon parrot enters the picture and becomes his worst enemy exposing his anti-communist sentiments and another relationship falls apart. He meets his refugee Montenegrin partner Bog  and his dog Wolfi at a protest rally against a skinhead neo-fascist demonstration selling his special Detroit Coney Island hotdogs to make a fast buck to flee with and in a riot that breaks out they end up on a crowd-control horse and while escaping  Bog steals a children's-ride pony and on these horses they start their roamin odyssey to Bog's address in Munich. After an arrest over a Golden Scythian Cup Caper Dame Fortune intervenes again and they're  let fee. From Munich they further roughride to a mountain village in Montenegro where Don take's Bog's sister as his wife and she's a big as Bog  but it doesn't bother Don's neurotic shorty complex. From his cabin home with the creative help of his wife's moonshine slivovitz plum brandy he pencils his psychotic anecdotal memoir toned confession-like about some delusional-murder to get all his trials and tribulations of his fuckin chest as he puts it. And the epic narrative is full of peasant human-fate philosophy and adventures and misadventures with wildly bizarre and amusing erotic escapades that for further laughs are frilled with humorous scatological incidents that are avoided  in novels but daily are unavoidable to stay. Don ends his half-insane memoir with a totally unexpected surprise.
